ABOUT Serpent

Serpent is a Belgian design brand, creating contemporary homeware in collaboration with leading international designers and makers. From dinnerware, home accessories, lighting, pottery and furniture, the Serpent collections are imagined by both established designers and new talent, each with their own distinctive vision and design signature. Their creations are realised by skilled craftspeople from across the globe. While unique in design and materiality, the collections remain true to Serpent’s core philosophy of accessibility, quality and functionality.

Founded in 1986 by brothers Serge and Axel Van Den Bossche, Serpent blends family passion with creative innovation. Led by Axel, each collection is curated with care in collaboration with our Antwerp-based team and talented designers worldwide. Each collaborator – from individual craftspeople & designers to our organisational team – becomes part of the growing, international Serpent family.

Serpent carefully curates and encompasses some of the most respected and exciting names in contemporary design and fine dining, including Ann Demeulemeester, Kelly Wearstler, Marie Michielssen, Marni, Ottolenghi and more. Alongside our partnerships, we constantly seek out young talent and creators, fostering a diversity of perspectives.
